Global Health
Background
In addition to serving on expert panels with the WHO and other global health entities, we build and utilize innovative, systems-informed convenings to drive meaningful change with partners that have included the Gates Foundation, UNICEF, GAVI and WHO. Our collaboration with the Global Health Security Fund (GHSF) and Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) anchored on a transformative event held alongside the 2023 World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. This invitation-only session brought together a select group of changemakers—innovators, investors, leaders, and experts—with the shared goal of identifying and addressing the critical gaps in the global health innovation ecosystem. Through dynamic discussions and collaborative exercises, participants defined the shifts in the current landscape necessary to create systemic change.
Our approach emphasized human-centered design and systems thinking, helping participants connect across silos and recognize key opportunities for transformation. Leveraging their combined domain expertise, participants explored the current state of the ecosystem, co-created strategies for transformation, and outlined concrete actions for driving systemic change. This event is an example of our ability to guide cross-sector collaboration and catalyze action toward long-term, sustainable innovation in global health.
The outcome of the session was the foundation for future efforts to strengthen collaboration across the global health community, with a shared commitment to upending the status quo.
