The real voyage
of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but in seeing with new eyes.
Our complex social systems are non-deterministic - we can neither prescribe nor predict how they work with perfect accuracy. In order to change these systems, we need to provoke them, study their response, and adapt our approaches.
Doing so effectively requires a nuanced understanding of stakeholders, their incentives,
and their interactions.
For more than two decades, we've been designing complex systems, particularly in health and healthcare, and intervening on them, establishing
a domain of knowledge at the intersection of design thinking and systems theory.
